🔧 Alterations
How long do alterations take?
Basic Alterations typically take 7–14 business days depending on the style and complexity. Evening wear alterations typically take 2-4 weeks to be completed. Please plan ahead — we do not offer same-day or next-day alterations.
Do you offer rush service?
Yes. A rush service is available for an additional $25 fee for projects needed in less than 5–7 days. Rush appointments must be paid in full at drop off.
Is a deposit required for alterations?
We appreciate paid in full but Yes, A 50% or more deposit can be accepted for projects over $100 at drop off.

👗 Custom Design Services
What is included in a custom design appointment?
A custom design appointment includes:
• One-on-one time with Shawnte, the designer
• Reviewing your photos or inspiration
• Sketching your design concept
• Fabric and trim recommendations
This appointment ensures your vision is fully developed before we begin production.
Is there a fee for a custom design appointment?
Yes. Some projects require an appointment fee between $25-$45, which goes toward your total project cost if you proceed.
If you decide not to move forward after the design consultation, the appointment fee is non-refundable as it covers the designer’s time and creative work.
How much deposit is required for custom designs?
A 50%–75% deposit is required before any custom project begins.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. For larger projects ($400 and up) such as bridal alterations or intricate custom designs, we offer weekly payment plans that can be arranged directly with the owner.

How long does a custom design take?
Typical custom projects take 4–6 weeks, depending on:
• Fabric sourcing
• Design development and sketches
• Number of fittings required
Please plan your project well before your event date.
Do you make Prom or bridal gowns?
We do not create full custom prom or bridal gowns from scratch.
However, we do offer upscale redesigns or alterations for special occasion pieces.
For full prom or bridal gowns, we’re happy to recommend trusted specialists who can meet those needs.

• Custom work and alterations are never cheaper than store-bought garments.
• If you find a ready-made item online or in a store, expect a custom version or custom redesign to cost double or even triple — due to the time, skill, and precision involved in handcrafting a perfect fit.
• Every project is made by hand, to your measurements, and with personal attention — ensuring quality and a fit that reflects you.
